Microneedling treatments may cause slight discomfort, but our experts will be happy to offer you numbing cream to minimise any discomfort. We’ll also run through the whole process and aftercare instructions during your consultation.
Typically, a microneedling treatment will take about 30-60 minutes, depending on the area(s) being treated. However this includes the skin prep time, relaxing LED therapy following treatment to calm the skin and aid results, and aftercare products. The microneedling part is relatively quick!
We recommend a series of 3-6 treatments, spaced between 4 and 6 weeks apart to achieve optimal results. A single session, every 6 months is ideal to keep collagen levels topped up.
You may experience redness and mild swelling for up to 24 hours after the treatment, but you can get back to your everyday activities immediately. We us LED therapy to reduce inflammation immediately after the treatment.
