Here at The Skin & Face Clinic, we can offer you topical anesthesia or numbing creams to minimise any discomfort during the procedure.
Recovery time will vary depending on the depth of treatment. Superficial treatments may have minimal downtime, while deeper treatments can require several days to weeks for complete healing, during which the skin may be red, swollen and mild flaking.
After your treatment, you may experience some redness, swelling, and heat in the skin. These side effects are typically mild and go away on their own within a few days. You may also notice that your skin feels sensitive and dry. It is important to keep your skin hydrated and follow the aftercare provided and protect your skin from the sun for several days after treatment. As always, we recommend the use of good medical grade skincare and daily spf 50 to enhance and prolong results.
